Apple announced its unfinished professional photography tool Aperture. Pretty interesting app. Apple says it's not trying to compete with Photoshop, but from what I can see, its a pretty impressive piece of software. If you're thinking 'oh no, not another iPhoto,' then you don't have to worry. Think more on the lines of Final Cut Pro and Apple's other high-end tools.

Given how slow and RAM hungry Adobe's Bridge application is, I'm wondering if pro-photographer's will adopt this tool over Photoshop? I'm also wondering about Photoshop and other image editing package integration. What do you think?
