Firefox 2.0

Mozilla has released Firefox 2.0 in light of the early release of Microsoft's IE 7. Firefox 2 offers some new security features, like built-in Phishing protection to protect against possible identity theft. Tabbed browsing has been improved on. Now each tab has a close button in the upper right-hand corner. Clicking on links opens external pages or sites in a separate tab instead of a new window. There's also spell check available for when you're filling out forms.

What's really exciting about Firefox is all of the add-ons, plug-ins, themes, and extras that you'll find on their site. There's a good mix of developer tools and productivity widgets.
